The European Week of Regions and Cities is the biggest event on EU regional and urban policy, open to all stakeholders. It attracts thousands of stakeholders and experts to Brussels to discuss EU Cohesion Policy. In 2017, this event will reach its 15th birthday. It is a moment of both looking back and looking forward, whilst tackling the challenges that the EU regional and urban policy should be addressing, as of today, and over the coming years.
In the framework of the European week, the Dubrovnik Neretva region is organising at the European parliament (room: Jan 6Q1) the conference titled “Together with EU funds – for better transport connectivity” on 10 October 2017 from 09:00-11:00.
The event will focus on trans-European transport networks and cross-border transport connections.
Over 80 delegates from EU institutions, regional development agencies and EU regions will be in attendance. The conference will have a Panel discussion on “Importance of Transport Connectivity in Supporting Regional Economic Development”.
The event is organised by Dubrovnik Neretva Region in collaboration with Brod Posavina Region, Karlovac Region, Vukovar Srijem Region and Member of European parliament Mrs. Dubravka Šuica.
