Member states of EU got results of approved propositions of European Comission about investing 22,1 milion euros in seven activities wich will contribute in development of sustainable and effective traffic and energetic infrastructure. Funds will be provided from Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) ,one of the main instruments for financing within the strategy of promoting growth,employment and competitiveness through targeted investments in infrastructure at the european level, wich is carried out in order to establish energy union in the EU.Croatia has one of the selected projects SINCO.GRID.
The Connecting Europe Facility(CEF) is a financial instrument established for additional Investment in building new and improving the exsiting traffic,energy and telecommunication infrastructure from which member states apart from the exsisting structural and cohesion funds can finance projects on nine corridors of the Trans-European Networks (TEN-T). It aims to help create interconnected networks across Europe, which will be high performance and enviromentally sustainable and contribute to economic growth,social and territorial cohesion within the European Union.
